Fully Loaded CBD Fauxtatoes with Bacon Jam

Creamy puréed cauliflower mixed with butter, cream & CBD make these fauxtatoes low in carbs, keto friendly & medicinal. Top with CBD bacon jam to take this dish to the next level.

Cauliflower Mash
 1 head cauliflower
 1 clove garlic
 3 tbsp butter, melted
 2 tbsp heavy cream
 salt & pepper to taste
 1 pinch chili powder
 4 full droppers MURU Elixir
Bacon Jam
 1 lb bacon
 1 sweet onion, chopped
 2 tbsp butter
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
 2 full droppers MURU Elixir
Garnish
 marble cheese, shredded
 green onion, chopped

Bacon Jam

Slice the onion. Place the butter in a saucepan to melt. Add the onion & cook on low about 1 hour or until onions are golden brown & creamy.

Lay out strips of bacon onto a baking sheet & bake at 400°F/205°C for about 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

Once onions are caramelized, add the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar & MURU CDB Elixir.

Place the onion mixture into a food processor with the bacon & pulse until desired consistency.

Cauliflower Mash

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash & cut the cauliflower into florets. Place the cauliflower into the boiling water & cook until tender. Strain.

Allow the cauliflower to cool a bit. Put into a food processor with melted butter, garlic, heavy cream, salt & spices. Purée until smooth.

Scoop into a casserole dish. Shred cheese on top & bake at 425°F/220°C
until cheese is melted & the mash is bubbling around the edges.

Place a large dollop of the bacon relish on top & garnish with green onions.
