CANNABIS OIL VERSION - CBD OR THC
1 lb or 454 gram fresh organic strawberries, with stems
2 cups dark or milk chocolate melting wafers, (use dark chocolate for vegan)
1 tbsp CBD or THC cannabis oil
¼ cup white chocolate melting wafers, (omit for vegan)
DISTILLATE VERSION
1 lb or 454 gram fresh organic strawberries, with stems
2 cups dark or milk chocolate melting wafers, (use dark chocolate for vegan)
 160 mg distillate
¼ cup white chocolate melting wafers, (omit for vegan)
CANNABUTTER OR CANNABIS COCONUT OIL VERSION
1 lb or 454 gram fresh organic strawberries, with stems
2 cups dark or milk chocolate melting wafers, (use dark chocolate for vegan)
1 tbsp cannabutter, (or coconut oil for vegan)
¼ cup white chocolate melting wafers, (omit for vegan)

1

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Remove berries from the container & inspect for bad spots, bugs or flower petals. Remove anything you do not want to eat.

(I like to use cold berries right out of the fridge so the chocolate sets quickly. I DO NOT wash my berries because they need to be completely dry for the chocolate to stick on them or if water gets into the chocolate it will seize up & become unusable. This is also why I suggest using organic.)

2

Place the chocolate in a bowl fitted for a double boiler system or place a medium glass or metal bowl over a medium pot of simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is almost completely melted. Remove from the heat when there are a few small pieces of unmelted chocolate. The residual heat will continue to melt the rest. DO NOT overheat the chocolate, you do not want it to be hot to the touch.

3

Once the chocolate has completely melted, add in the cannabis oil & stir very well until there are no visible oil streaks.

4

Gather the leaves around the stem & use it to hold the berry while dipping it. Dunk the berry into the chocolate, about three-quarters of the way to the top. Lift the berry above the bowl of chocolate & allow the excess the drip off for a few seconds. Drag one side of the berry along the edge of the bowl, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back in. Place this side on to the parchment paper.

(Option to sprinkle on toppings at this point, do this immediately after dipping each one before the chocolate sets. This could include sprinkles, toffee bits or chopped nuts.)

5

While the chocolate is setting on the berries, place the white chocolate into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second increments to ensure even melting & to prevent it from burning, this does not smell good!

6

Use a small spoon to drizzle thin lines of white chocolate onto the berries. Allow chocolate to set.

7

Consume immediately, later that day or store in a container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
