Quick & Easy Homemade Cannabis Gummies

Homemade THC or CBD kombucha gummies are easy to make right in the comfort of your own kitchen. Best of all, they are easy on the wallet too! Feel free to use a store-bought, flavoured kombucha to cater to your taste buds which will make this recipe even quicker to whip up.

Hibiscus Concentrate
 ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers
 ¼ cup sugar
 ½ cup filtered water
Kombucha Gummy
 1 ½ cups original or unflavoured kombucha
 1 ½ tbsp blood orange juice
 2 drops hibiscus concentrate
 1 tsp rose water
 2 tbsp THC or CBD infused honey
 4 tbsp powdered gelatin

Hibiscus Concentrate

Place the ingredients in a saucepan over high heat & stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let boil for 5 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat & allow the mixture to steep for 15 minutes.

Strain into a glass jar & allow the concentrate to cool. Seal the jar & refrigerate up to 3 weeks.

*Can also be used in tea, smoothies & cocktails *

Kombucha gummies

Mix the kombucha, hibiscus concentrate & rose water in a saucepan.

Sprinkle the powdered gelatin over the mixture & allow to sit for 5 minutes. The mixture will become thick as the gelatin blooms.

Place the saucepan with the gelatin mixture over medium heat. Stir after a couple minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not allow the mixture to boil!

Stir in the honey & pour the mixture into a liquid measure or container with a pour spout.

Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a silicone baking pan. Place in the fridge to chill & set for 3 hours.

Use a knife or your fingers to gently peel away one edge of the gummies at a time then pop out the rest. If using a baking pan, remove from the pan & cut to desired sizes. Store the kombucha gummies in an airtight container for 1 week.
